This was my first year ever to be apart of the RELAY FOR LIFE, which leaves me thinking why??? why have I not done this before??? Certainly a GREAT event for a GREAT cause.
Friday morning 4:30 am I was waken by 2 things, the alarm clock and the smell of fresh coffee automatically staring to brew. Tracey and I once again had a MORNING SHOW to do on Napanee's Best Radio Station MyFm 88.7 and we needed to arrive prior to going LIVE ON AIR for 6:00 am.
We once again sucessfully completed the MORNING SHOW with JAMIE CYBULSKI from 6 til 9, lots of laughs as always, but in the back of my mind was, "I was going to need a nap, if I were going to make the 12 hours at the RELAY FOR LIFE" but the nap never happened, but work did, and I'm not complaining !!!
Tracey and I put in a full day with our Real Estate Duties, from showing houses, writing offers and even getting a new
listing, I knew it was going to be a GREAT DAY since 4:30 am !!!!
Tracey and I made the whole 12 hours without any problems, even though I was suffering from a broken big toe (from Baseball) and the rain....but all in all...I just know next year is going to be bigger and better !!!
Words can not express the feeling of being a part of such an event as the RELAY FOR LIFE.
