It’s that time of year again – the winter holidays – which for many people means a plethora of merry get-togethers, lots of fun holiday activities and festive music.
You can enjoy all of that on Friday, November 29, at Main Street Markham North’s Festival of Lights from 6pm to 9pm. There will be Christmas carollers, horse and buggy rides, jugglers, elves on stilts, fire artists from the Zero Gravity Circus, and lots more! Also, at 7pm, there will be a dazzling fireworks display and the lighting of a beautiful 30-foot Christmas tree. For those looking to squeeze in some holiday shopping too, stores will be holding extended hours.
Main Street Markham is an extension of Markham Road, just north of Highway 7 East. There is ample parking behind stores. Bring your entire family and join in on the fun!
