From July 5-7, come to the Markham Rotary Ribfest for some of summertime’s most delectable grilled favourites. The event will take place at Markham City Hall (Markham Civic Centre), at 101 Town Centre Boulevard, at the northwest corner of Highway 7 East and Warden Avenue.
What can you expect? Lots and lots of pork babyback ribs, of course, along with pulled pork sandwiches, grilled chicken and much more. Vendors include Pistol Pete’s Smokehouse, Bad Wolf Barbecue, Camp 31, Tennessee Fatbacks, Brickyard BBQ and Crazy Canuck Smokers.
This is a family-friendly event. There will be children’s games, rides, face-painting, inflatable bouncers and other activities. Adults can compete in taste competitions and enjoy a drink at the Beer Tent.
This is a rain or shine event. It will from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, 11am to 11pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Admission is free. Food, beverage and ride tickets are sold separately. Round up some friends, slap on some sunscreen and bring a big appetite!
