Newcomer to Markham and Richmond Hill

Are you a newcomer looking to become more connected to your community? Funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, the Catholic Community Services of York Region (CCSYR) is offering weekly and
biweekly French and English language conversation circles from January to April this year, including some locations in the Markham and Richmond Hill areas.

Biweekly English conversation circles are offered at the Richmond Hill Welcome Centre (9325 Yonge Street) on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm, Markham North Welcome Centre (8400 Woodbine Avenue, Suites 102-103) on
Mondays from 6pm to 8pm, and Markham South Welcome Centre (7220 Kennedy Road) on Thursdays from 6pm to 8pm.

Weekly English conversation circles are held at the Angus Glen Library (3990 Major MacKenzie) on Mondays from 10am to noon and the McConaghy Seniors’ Centre (10100 Yonge Street) on Thursdays from 1:30pm to
3:30pm.

Weekly French conversation circles are offered for beginner speakers at the Richmond Hill Welcome Centre on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm and advanced speakers at the CCSYR (21 Dunlop Street) on Thursdays from
6pm to 8pm.
