The much-anticipated Unionville Festival is just around the corner! The festival will run all weekend from May 31 to June 2 along Main Street Unionville.
The festival will start on Friday with plenty of live street entertainment, including a cover band, a violin-piano duet and an acoustic band.
Saturday’s itinerary will kick start at 10am with a parade – the largest one in York Region. Featuring plenty of bright, colourful costumes, dancers and marching bands, it will surely please all. Make sure to head over to Toogood Pond for Pondapalooza, where you can putt with the Angus Glen golf team, enjoy some great BBQ, and watch (or even compete in!) the famous Krazy Kraft Race. The premise of the race is participants design and build their own motorless boat for a chance to win some great prizes. Adults can unwind and quench their thirst at the Beer Garden, which will be open from 1pm to 7:30pm. Finish the day off with a bang – literally – by watching a dazzling display of fireworks at dusk (approximately 9 to 9:30pm).
The fun continues on Sunday with a dog contest, karaoke competition, an open art display, hot-air balloon rides, races, a treasure hunt, a farmer’s market and much more!
Come experience a fun-filled event that is deeply rooted in beautiful Unionville's history that will be sure to please your entire family!
