I'm not a Barsky fan...

As my training to participate in the Yukon Trail Marathon continues I have started to wonder if my body will aways feel like it's just been hit by a truck.  The ultimate goal is to successfully tackle the mountainous terrain around Whitehorse, but getting to the physical level I think I need to achieve has been a challenge.  Running through streets and along River beds is one thing.  Running up the side of a mountain is different story.  Trying to emulate that here in Kenora has been a challenge but there is a hill that is certainly not user friendly if you have not been jogging for some time.  They call it Barsky's hill.  I call it something else but this is a family blog.  The slope is fairly steep when running north, on the way back it's the kind of hill that never stops.  It just keeps going.  I can honestly say I'm not a Barsky fan but it is doing the job of preparing me for Whitehorse.
