Bronte Creek Provincial Park
Ready? Set. Walk!
Picture yourself walking a track while hundreds of people: family, friends, co-workers and neighbours, cheer you on. The baton you hold in your hand is a powerful symbol of your personal commitment to make an impact in the fight against cancer. Each dollar raised, each lap completed, each baton passed, brings us one step closer to creating a world where no one fears cancer.
For 15 years, Relay For Life, the national signature event of the Canadian Cancer Society, has been the biggest cancer fundraising event in Canada. Last year in Ontario alone 106 community events raised $12.8M to fight cancer.
Relay For Life is a 12-hour Relay event that challenges teams of individuals to fundraise and set goals. Taking turns walking or running around a track, individuals meet their 5K, 10K or greater individual goals that they set to go the distance, showing support for people living with cancer.
It’s a Journey, go the Distance! Accept the baton and walk to fund vital support services and Canada’s most promising cancer research. Learn more and register today: www.relayforlife.ca
