I have retained Mr. Yetman’s services 4 times since 1998 and have been very satisfied with the service and results that he provided. In 1998 he found us a perfect family home, zeroing in on what our needs were and ensuring they were met. We moved from there in 2004 and he sold our house the very first day it was on the market. I returned to Halifax in 2015 and David once again helped me find a perfect home. I was going through a personal life transition and David was available anytime to answer question after question, always polite, always patient and always available. We began to work with him last July. At that time, we were looking for a condominium property in Halifax for our daughter who was due to begin graduate studies at Dalhousie this September. We live in Vancouver, B.C., and had only three full days in the first week of July to view properties.
From the first email, David demonstrated an unparalleled promptness, efficiency, and skill that marked our entire journey with him. He listened well, was attentive to our needs and strived to understand our likes and dislikes. We didn’t feel rushed, nor were his opinions simply about making a sale.
We found David to know the area intimately, to know the inventory available, he knew the back story on properties which was very helpful, and he had a system in place that kept up daily with any new inventory that came onto the market. That technology was user friendly and enabled him to begin compiling a list of properties that were of interest to us prior to our arrival.
His level of Communication, organization and service was well beyond industry standards. He was also conversant and adept with the technologies that simplify and speed along a real estate purchase made at a distance. Additionally, he had experience and knowledge of all the challenges we would face, and he expertly guided us through the entire process. We established a list of 7 properties to view prior to departure from Vancouver and our purchase offer was made and finalized before we returned home.
When we found the right home for our daughter, David helped us close the deal, negotiate favorable terms, and was there to assist us until we had the keys in our hand! It was a great comfort to have our daughter move into her new home September 1, a week ahead of beginning her program.

Most recently he helped us to sell a property in an area where many homes have been very slow to sell. (Often greater than a year)
Dave uses current technology to the maximum benefit of his clients. He ensured that our property was viewed by as many buyers as possible by using social media and YouTube and he makes signing documents convenient and accessible using his iPad.
