Well real estate has had a good start to the year. 7 houses SOLD as of today April 27, 2018, which is slightly lower than last year at this time. One of the contributing factors is that at this time last year there were a few more houses on the market. Currently we sit with just 10 houses on the market and 4 lots. So although sales are down slightly, price for homes are still rising due to the lack of inventory.
Here in Gold River, homes may take a bit longer to sell than other markets so one of the most important factors to selling your property remains pricing your property correctly. Buyers have done a fair amount of research in multiple markets and overpriced homes take longer to sell. Plain and simple.
