156th Bolton Fall Fair


This year the Bolton Fall Fair celebrates it's 156th birthday. The fair runs from Friday September 19, 2014 through to Sunday, September 21, 2014.

The Bolton Fair isn't just the midway and food, there are many events planned over the 3 days, try to make time to take some of these in.

Baby Show 

Sunday September 21, 2014 10:30 am on the Stage

Boys and Girls will be judged separately

Decision of the judges is final.

  • The Baby Show is held on the outdoor main stage (weather permitting).
  • Classes are set up with age as of September 1, 2014
  • Starting time for the show will be 10:30 sharp.
  • All babies must arrive by 10 am to receive their entry number.

Sunday September 21 2014 1:00pm on the TRACK

Open to local area schools

Each school can enter two teams:

a. Grade 5 and under

b. Grade 8 and under

c. High School team

d. Community Group, e.g. Hockey Team, 4-H Club

Teams will be made up of 10 pullers – 5 boys & 5 girls

Need a minimum of 3 schools to compete and pay out full prize money

Prizes: First place $150; Second place $100

Each school that participates will receive $50


Pet Show   


Sunday September 21 2014 at 12:30pm on the Track

To pre-register contact committee before, or on, Show Day.

  • No entry fee, registration half hour before show time
  • All pets welcome, including exotic pets
  • Owners are responsible for their pet(s)
  • All pets must be on a leash, & exhibitors must provide cages for their pets if needed

Spaghetti Eating Contest

Saturday September 20, 2014 7:00pm on the Stage

Print & Sign Entry Form:  2014 Spaghetti Eating Contest

1.           Entrants must sign an indemnity against any indigestion or stained clothing. Standard Hold Harmless Agreement also applies

2.           The contestants will be given 5 minutes to consume as much spaghetti as possible. The winner will be the contestant who consumes the most pasta in the time allowed.

3.           Each contestant will be given one plate of pasta at a time, and will be given a refill plate once the current plate has been completely cleared of spaghetti and sauce.

4.           All decision by judges and organizers are final. Including the decision when a plate is cleared.

5.           Each plate of spaghetti will have the same weight, and each plate consumed will be added together. The final plate being consumed when time is called will be weighed, and this weight will be deducted from the beginning weight. This calculated weight will be added to the weight of the other plates finished.

6.           There will be an additional prize awarded, for the winner of the “Table Manners Award”, as decided after the contest by audience applause.

7.           Entry is strictly limited to 10 Entrants and will be on a first come, first seated basis.

8.           The contest is open to anyone over 16 years of age.

First Place $50
Second Place $30
Third Place $20
Table Manners $20


The Bolton Fall Fair is the orgainzed by The Albion and Bolton Agricultural Society  a group of enthusiastic volunteers who spend many months preparing for the Truck and Tractor Pull and Bolton Fall Fair.
