When you are selling your home, there will be potential buyers who will want to see every inch of your house. As the saying goes, first impressions are lasting impressions, so make sure your home shows its best. Look all your house and property like a buyer would look at it, starting with the outside. Take a good, objective look. What needs to be done? Make a list of everything that would turn a buyer off, and then fix these things. In the next few months I will give you a general sellers checklist: This month we will deal with:
1. House exterior in good repair
2. House number easy to see
3. Eavestroughs, down spouts and soffits clean and in good repair
4. Garage/carport clean and tidy
5. Cracked or broken window panes replaced;windows cleaned.
Next month: First impressions - Depending on the season. Stay tuned and see you in September.
