Autumn Air is sooo fresh. Loving my job as I get to travel so may picturesque places in gorgeous Northumberland and the landscape between here and The City (for those that don't know, "the city" reference always means Toronto when you live here just an hour away hehe.) The 3rd quarter in Real Estate is quite busy as was the summer 2nd quarter. There was a slight lull while everyone enjoyed the best days of summer in August and the Long Weekend and back to school business of early September...but other than those traditionally quiet moments it has been a busy season once again.
The perfect storm for real estate sales continues with very low inventory, strong demand and low interest rates. I have listed a gorgeous lakefront home for sale on the North Shore of Rice Lake @ 409 Hannah Road, and seeing good activity and interest there.
I have a new 4BR 2Bath traditional home with private back yard steps to the lakefront in Ajax coming on the market for sale very soon (hopefully this week after a few touch ups as they are just readying the house for sale.)
I have a conditional sale pending on a fantastic lakefront property with a modest home that my buyers hope to renovate into a stunning new to see people transforming the local landscape.
I have COMING SOON IN COBOURG a semi-townhome that is currently being renovated. So love watching the progress as they work on this hidden gem. Centrally located. Reclaiming the character of the vintage brick townhome by opening it back up to reveal the high ceilings, the staircase detail woodwork, removing walls to gain space and let the light flow through, installing kitchens and baths and laundry rooms and of course the "guts" of the home -- all new wiring and plumbing and shingles and eaves troughs and soffit, for modern functionality. Truly a huge renovation rebuild job but so worth it to relcaim this beautiful vintage home while modernizing it for all the contemporary creature comforts. There is good activity and inquiries and showings happening on all my listings and especially 105 Maria's Quay which has dropped to a fantastic value of $500,900 for what is well under market price for a gorgeous high-end town home with elevator and rooftop deck near the lake in Cobourg. That one should be gone soon. I hope to announce a few more sales based on what is currently brewing.
Showed my 131EastTownlineRd listing that is situated at Lakeshore Rd near one of my most favourite areas to drive around. Picturesque lakeshore west of Port Hope with old growth trees and farmland along the coastline of Lake Ontario...the changes of fall painting the area so colourful and pretty.
So I have been very busy and also enjoying the gorgeous colours changing as I drive around Northumberland County and west to the city and all points in between.
