Professional Interests
Commercail Real Estate, development properties, non-profit housing developments throughout southern Ontario have been a part of my career.
I have been involved in the planning, construction and development of over 1000 residential non-profit rental units from Kincardine to Kingston and many places in between.
In the commercial field I have managed properties from 1500 sq. ft. to over 475,000 sq. ft. and have sold many parcels of land for development purposes. I have acted as a consultant in redevelopment projects, renovations, and assisted in planning for all types of commercial enterprises.

Personal Background
I grew up on a farm and early in my life learned that working is the only way to achieve any results. in 1973 I established myself and my family in the farm community in the Listowel/Milverton area of Ontario. At the age of sixteen I took charge of the family enterprises generating revenues in excess of $450,000.00 annually. A tremendous amount of revenue in that time.
We operated a farrow to finished hog ranch and were pioneers in many innovative techniques, increasing profitability at all levels. We also operated one of the largest fur farms in Ontario, and a cash crop operation on our lands.
Upon attending University I took additional courses in Real Estate and other fields, gaining my licence in 1979, one of the youngest Realtors in the community at that time, three years later I was a Broker and managing a successful corporate office for Canada Trust Realtor and eventually managed the careers of over 40 representatives and the Real Estate Appraisal divison for the region.
In 1987 I left Canada Trust Realtor and built a successful Commercial Office which became a local and provincail specialist in the non-profit field. When government support of non-profit housing falter in the early 90's I moved to my present company.
During these years I raised three ambitious children who are now establishing their own career paths with the help and trust of my wife Linda, herself a successful consultant in the insurance industry.
My family and I have been blessed in all things and are thankful for even the smallest things life brings. I enjoy bringing families together in their new homes and watching them grow and prosper.
Professional Background
Early in my career I specialized in the marketing and sale of condominiums, quickly building a solid presence in a realatively new market. During 1982 I had a portfolio of 182 listings, and during a six month period that year I had participated in over 60 condominium sales ... so, if a condominium is what you have to sell, or what you want to buy - there are very few represetnatives with this level of experience.
Beginning in 1983, I assumed management of a corporately owned office. A small office of only 7 representatives ranked 150, out of 151 offices grew to 42 representatives and the number two office in the system within three years. During that period I had also assumed management responsibilities for the regional residential appraisal division and learned the details of appraising residential properties.
In 1987 I left that firm and opened my own company. We specialized in Commercial properties and Develpoment land sales. Branching into the growing market of Non-Profit housing development we soon managed and developed well over 1000 units for this housing sector.
in 1993, i began my current tenure here at Century 21, initially moving into the property management field. Within six months I was managing over 500,000 sq. ft. of space in the Waterloo regionand parking facilities for over 500 vehicles.
Currently my time is devoted to a smaller portfolio of properties and the support and advancement of the staff here at Century 21 Add Vanatge Realty.

The Land
The name "Ontario" comes from the Iroquois word "Kanadario" meaning "sparkling water." The name is fitting: not only is Ontario bordered on the south by the Great Lakes and on the north by Hudson Bay, but 177 390 km2, or one sixth of its terrain, is covered by rivers and lakes. Ontario is larger than Spain and France combined. The province has a landmass of 1,068,580 sq km and is the 2nd largest province in Canada. At its greatest extremity Ontario is 690 km in width. the longest distance north/south is 1,730 km.
