CENTURY 21 Dome Realty Inc. › Fort Qu'Appelle
Fort Qu'Appelle is a town located in the Qu'Appelle Valley in southern Saskatchewan, originally established as a Hudson's Bay Company trading post in 1852. The 1897 Hudson's Bay department store stone building still stands on Main Street. Fort Qu'Appelle is approximately 65 km north-east of Regina. The surrounding area is home to grain and cattle farms.
Fort Qu'Appelle is a tourist destination in both summer and winter. The lakes offer swimming, boating and other water related activities in the summer and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing in winter. The Mission Ridge Ski Hill is located just south of the town and is open during the winter and is patronised by ski-enthusiasts from the valley, Regina and elsewhere in the region.
