The first impression of your home is everything!

For home sellers who want to sell quickly at a good price, first impressions have to be perfect.

When you have the date set to meet your REALTOR® for a photo shoot, you might find yourself running around trying to tidy up in time.

Here are a few easy tips to help you prepare for a photo shoot:

  1. Clean up the yard, get the lawn mowed, gardening tools put away, and leaves raked.
  2. Remove all vehicles from the driveway. This will make your driveway look less cluttered
  3. Take all magnets off the fridge - less clutter the better.
  4. Open all the blinds to brighten up rooms. Turn on lights and replace burnt out light bulbs.
  5. Make sure the dishes are done and the kitchen sink is empty.
  6. Hide personal décor - buyers are able to picture themselves living in your house.

Remember, great photos help sell the house faster! If a buyer finds your listing online, the photos are what you have to win them over. The photo's need to create a compelling story of your home. Anyone who finds your house online should feel like they are walking through the home just like they would at an open house or if they lived there.

Hope these tips help get your house ready and to sell quickly.
