November MLS® Home Price Index (HPI)

The November MLS® Home Price Index (HPI) increased 4.62 per cent year-over-year. This composite index allows an apple to apples comparison of benchmark home prices from one year to the next and shows the price changes from the 2005 benchmark price base. The Index removes the influence of home sales that would skew average and median price data.

The HPI for Single Family Detached Homes increased 5.75%. For example, if you were fortunate enough to have purchased this home in Richmond Hill, the price of your home would have increased 6.78% VYA and the price of your home would have increased by 70% since November 2005.
