Hugs in real estate?

I read something the other day that made me stop and think. The article was entitled "Start selling for the hugs" and I thought, that is wierd, but of course I had to read it. Upon reading the article further, it all made sense. I realized that I am in the type of business that brings about happiness, and in turn, that theoretically brings about hugs! Not to be sappy but I love the feeling of finding the right home for someone or the right piece of property and making the deal happen. Although it is a hard thing for buyers to go through the process of buying sometimes, as this is how it can go; you find the perfect home, you put in an offer and you wait, your stomach is tied in knots wondering, will they accept? Then they comeback with a counter offer, and there is a decision to be made, do you go with this counter offer or come back with your own counter offer, what if they don't accept your counter and the deal falls through, well now your stomach is doing flip flops and so it goes... This is not always the case but it can and does happen, so when we finalize a deal and our client is happy and has found their perfect place, it is a time to rejoice. I'm not gonna lie, it is the best part of the job! Of course there are times when deals fall apart and those times can be difficult, but it's the successful deals that make it all worthwhile! It's a great industry helping people fulfill their dreams and getting those hugs!
