We see an increasing number of rental items in homes other than the standard hot water tank. Tankless Hot Water Systems, Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Alarm/Security systems etc. It is imperative that Realtors protect their Buyer clients by determining "upfront" just what items in the home are rentals and that the specifics as to monthly cost and term of contract are disclosed to the potential Buyer before the transaction becomes firm. At Century 21 Infinity we have develpoed a clause to be added into all Agreements that specifies that the Buyer will not be responsible for any rentals whatsoever unless full details are disclosed in the Agreement.
