Oshawa's Housing Prices Stump

The Average Price Is Not What Was Expected To Be A Couple Months Ago

The real estate market in the Durham region has unarguably changed over the last two months. With new government regulations, and more people looking to sell their homes to catch the last draft of the selling market, there is now a shift in power towards the buyers again.

The average prices for a house in Oshawa has gone down by 11% over the last month, however the price has increased over the last year by 20.5%. With the average days on market being 8 days there is still a huge demand for homes in Oshawa and the GTA.

So how do you capitalize on these trends? With the latest shift in uncertainty in the market it is becoming more important now than before that you price the home attractively to bring in the most buyers, and to make the home look as appealing as possible. House staging, cleaning and online marketing is a sellers best friend right now if they are looking to get the best possible price for their home in this market.
