Saskatchewan experienced balanced real estate market conditions in 2010.
The number of sales in 2010 was down slightly in both the Regina and Saskatoon areas. However, Saskatoon saw a minor drop in sales volume of 2% while Regina saw a slight increase in sales volume of 1%.

A report released last week by the Conference Board of Canada states that home prices are projected to increase in Regina and Saskatoon over the next year. Regina home prices are expected to increase by five to seven per cent, while Saskatoon may increase by seven per cent or more.

According to the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), listed existing homes recorded their best December ever as the recovery in the Canadian housing market sales climbed 7.7 per cent last year from 2008.
