A thought for today:)
Easter is a new beginning celebration. There is a new beginning even when dealing with the loss of a loved one. Life is everchanging and we need to adapt. When you lose someone close to you, you feel an emptiness, but your life has changed. It's a new beginning. You can make it whatever you'd like. We all have choices to make. We can mourn and never heal, or we can mourn and plan to heal. I believe that death is a celebration of life. You may have had a lifetime with this person, or they may have been called away too soon. Regardless we should celebrate the time we had with them. Be grateful for knowing and loving them. Your loved one gets to start a new life too in paradise. Life on earth is a test and our reward is heaven. My Irish roots tell me so ;)
I hope that my take on things helps someone out there who is struggling with a loss. It certainly helps me :)
RIP my friend - your smile, your laughter and our chats - no more except in our memories. You were always there and we always looked forward to seeing you. You will be missed.
