Welcome to the village of Port Stanley.  With one of the finest stretches of sandy beach on the north shore of Lake Erie, the village is a popular destination for day-trippers and for those who want to stay a little longer.

Port Stanley's uniqueness lies with its natural attractions such as the meandering Kettle Creek and the multitude of leisure boats that dot its banks.  Port is home to the largest, nort shore, inland federal harbour that attracts impressively large lake vessels.  the historical King George VI lift bridge, the oldest in Ontario, located in the centre of town is a "must see".

IUEC ON STRIKE OUTSIDE ST.THOMAS COURTHOUSE CONSTRUCTION SITE
   Emoloyees with  the International Union of Elevator Constructors have now set up pickets outside of the Courthouse construction site on Wellington St.  We are stil awaiting comment from IUEC representative Laird Thomson. RBC DONATES $5000. TO ICE
The Incubation Centre for Entrepreneurs was presented with a $5000. cheque from the Royal Bank of Canada.  The presentation was made Wednesday morning.
