Canadian home sales jump in March as buyers come out of hibernation
Sales of existing homes in Canada jumped in March from February as the winter deep freeze ended and home buyers started to come back into the market, the Canadian Real Estate Association said on Tuesday. The Canadian Real Estate Association says the number of homes sold last month was up 4.9% compared with the same month last year, but remained below the 10-year average.
