Resale values of the neighborhoods in and around Charlottetown and Brighton have been excellent and will likely continue to be given it's proximity to the downtown and waterfront.

Brighton is characterized by it's quaint streets flanked by large mature trees and Victorian style heritage homes.

Brighton has long been considered a desirable location for it's beauty, proximity to downtown and also it's close proximity to schools. Children living in the area can walk to school from elementary at West Kent Elementary, on to Junior High School at Queen Charlotte Junior high and all the way to high school at Colonel Gray High School.

In addition to the obvious geographical advantages there are to living in Brighton, locals know that it's things like, walking down the street for a Montreal bagel and newspaper at the Brighton Clover Farm, the short walk with the kids to Victoria Park for a swim on a hot summer day or watching horse and carriage tours meandering down the street...these are the things that give Brighton it's flavor and make it one of the most unique and desirable places to live on Prince Edward Island.
