Waterfront properties

It's that time of year again!  People are looking to head to cottage country in the Laurentians or the Eastern Townships and enjoy some fun in the sun on the water!  Although you wouldn't think so with the snow falling today!  It won't last though don't worry.  The forecast looks good for the coming weeks!  So when you are thinking waterfront; I have a piece of advice.  Contact someone who knows the area!  I have seen so many waterfront or lake access properties that are listed as such and are on nothing more than a swamp or a stream!  It is important to talk to someone who knows the area and market and can steer you in the right direction to find the property you're looking for on the right lake or river.  You can waste a lot of time going to visit properties that are not desireable if you're visiting on your own or with an out of town broker.  It is always a good idea to work with a professional for this reason to save you time and money.  Professionals can also inform you about depth, cleanliness issues, watercraft permissions etc. when you are choosing the waterfront that is right for you!  From Mont Tremblant to St-Hippolyte there are very few lakes that I am not familiar with, so call or email me today if you have any questions.  Now's the time if you want to get that cottage before the hot weather rolls in.  There are lots of houses to choose from and the interest rates are still extremely favourable for buyers!
