For most people, buying or selling real-estate is the most important transaction of their lives.  The financial implications are huge and parties involved are sometimes faced with stressful and emotional situations.  As a real estate broker, my purpose is to assist you in making the right decisions to get you the best results while making the experience a pleasant one. I offer two key services: selling and buying properties.

Selling your property involves much more than just putting up a sign and walking buyers through the house.  Proper marketing is essential to generate the most interest and thus increase the potential value of your property.  When buyers visit the property, it is important to know what to say to create excitement and avoid having a good buyer walk out the door.  Aside from building interest during the visit, it is also important to not give away information that can negatively affect price negotiations later on.  Everyone knows there are significant legal implications including certain issues that must be declared.  Knowing how to explain such issues makes a big difference in whether someone is willing to buy a property and what price they are willing to pay.

If I am selling your property, my priority is to get you the best price on your best terms.  I also offer helpful advice and present the property in its best light.  I market the property using top quality professional photographers, carefully scripted descriptions, and advertise on effective real-estate websites, as well as through my real estate network.  I manage showings according to your schedule, provide you with feedback, and use my strong sales skills to sell your property to potential buyers.  I then negotiate on your behalf and help meet your objectives

Buying a property is very different than selling.  There are many details to consider and you must clearly establish what you want and don’t want.  It is important to be able to look at listings objectively and identify the crucial issues to consider.  Not all properties are marketed equally and some people will miss opportunities to find a good home because they focus too much on little details like pictures, decor, or weak descriptions of the property.  Once you visit a property, you should know what to look for and be able to understand the cost and magnitude of foreseeable renovations.  This reduces future stress and is a key part of negotiating a better price.  Just like when selling a property there are some things that you should and shouldn’t say to sellers or their agents to avoid losing leverage later on when negotiating the price. Having the right real estate broker can help you avoid making costly mistakes that can cause unnecessary stress.

When working with you as a buyer I am your personal consultant, helping you make the right decisions and getting the best value.  I help you determine what to look for and what to avoid as well understand what is available on the market based on your needs and finances.  When we visit, I can identify pros and cons of the properties for you and help you understand the real value of the property.  Finally, I excel at negotiating you the best prices and conditions.  Ultimately my goal is to make sure you are happy with your decision and that life in your new home begins on the right foot.
