Crystal Beach is located at the west end of Ottawa and is only a 15 minute drive to downtown Ottawa. This breath-taking community is situated right by the Nepean Sailing Club and Andrew Haydon Park along the Ottawa River. It offers fabulous bicycle trails that can lead you right to our capital’s downtown core.

This primarily residential neighbourhood has a strong sense of community which was established in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was originally part of the City of Nepean until 2001 when it amalgamated with the City of Ottawa.

This community has easy access to quality schooling, recreational facilities, the National Capital Equestrian Park, Queensway Carleton Hospital and one of the city’s largest shopping malls- Bayshore Shopping Centre.  It offers a local community centre as well as an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

Crystal Beach is a family oriented neighbourhood with a mix of younger families and older couples, many still being original owners enjoying the area they call home. Many of the young families grew up in the area and are now back in the neighbourhood with their children enrolled in a wide array of activities from baseball and tennis to Brownies and Cubs.
