Personal Background
I grew up on a small little island off the coast of Vancouver Island called Lasqueti. As a child I spent my time fishing, mountain biking and enjoying nature. Once adolescence kicked in it was time for me to spread my wings and find my way.
I left Lasqueti and went to high school at Shawnigan Lake School. It took a year to adjust to boarding school but I really enjoyed my time there. I was a big rugby player and enjoyed trips with my team to New Zealand, Scotland, Whales and Ireland. Having the experiences of Shawnigan and travelling to different countries helped me gain an interest and respect for all different types of people. Shawnigans students are from all around the globe so I was exposed to different cultures and interesting people all through high school.
I graduated with honours in 1996 and moved to Vancouver a year later. I enrolled in BCIT studying New Media Design and Marketing while working in a restaurant to pay my tuition.
It was a few years later that I would find my way into Real Estate. Best move I ever made!
Professional Background
I started my career in Real Estate in 2001. I was not yet a realtor but I purchased my first condo and through the process of doing this I became very interested in all aspects of Real Estate.
I had been working in the hospitality industry running and operating restaurants and bars while going to BCIT for New Media Design and Marketing. I opened up my own small restaurant with two partner's and had a successful couple years but was not satisfied and looked towards a career move. I had really enjoyed the people aspect of the hospitality industry and enjoy meeting and working with all different types of people. This correlated directly into Real Estate, its a relationship business!
So here I am 9 years later as a professional Realtor and loving it!
Education
- Graduated from Shawnigan Lake School in 1996 with honours.
- Completed BCIT New Media Design & Marketing course in 2002.
- Completed the UBC Real Estate course and official licensed as a Real Estate Agent in 2004.

I find it very important to have a balance in your life. If you spend to much time at one thing you become resentful towards it.
I find a balance by doing various activities like, Motocross racing, Snowboarding, Running, Diving, Travelling, Yoga, Hiking, Spending time with Family and just about any other activity that I'm interested in.

Professional Interests
I have a very strong interest in anything Real Estate related. I have good friends that work in the commercial side and we always share trends on what is happening. I also pay close attention to the local and global economies.
I'm an avid animal lover and donate to the SPCA monthly. I try to spread the awareness of animal cruelty in hopes that people will respect animals and the important role they play in our world.
I have an adopted rescue dog and she is one of the most important things in my life.
