As a consumer do you think open houses are worth having and attending?
If you were selling your home would you want your Realtor to host open houses?
As a buyer do you go to them?

As a consumer does it matter what the catch phrase means? Do you give it a second thought? Would you call a Century 21 realtor because of the ads?
To me the 'SMARTER BOLDER ...

If you are thinking of selling this spring you should start thinking of selling right now. Our numbers for listings are low right now and lots of buyers are out looking. I believe this is about as balanced of a market we are going to have this year. The past few years have been a buyers market and I think this will remain but right now we do not seem to have enough choice for our buyers.
Did you ...

I recently had the pleasure to listen to a few local Red Deer residents talk about our city and where its going. I had the opportunity one afternoon to listen to Mayor Morris Flewwelling talk about Red Deer and his future goals for our great city. He explained what his and councils goals are for this year and the next few. With any business its important to have goals for the short and long term. ...

Recently I had an experience where a local company really had a profound impact on me. It was nothing to do with real estate but it made me think. What other local companies are around that help people in their daily lives that could be of benefit for my clients. I thought I would write the occasional blog to promote such companies. My first blog is about a company I heard about through a local paper. ...

Well it is the last day of 2011 so I thought I would give you a rundown on what happened in 2011. As of right now, I don't expect much to happen today, the numbers for Red Deer real estate sales are 1563 sales. With our listings down to 2843 this year that means we are up to 54.9% of our listings selling this year. That is an incredible jump from 2010's percentage of 42% of all listings being sold. ...
