Beautiful cold, winter Sunday today. It actually is warmer than it was earlier in the week but a bit colder than yesterday @ -13C. Yesterday the wind was blowing and the roads were just terrible to be out. Friday morning it was -42C with the windchill and I witnessed a car travelling down Taylor drive dragging the electrical cord for the block heater behind it.
We can moan and groan ...

Next week Friday March 4th marks the return of the Alberta edition to Century 21 Canada's Path to Profit and Awards Gala.
I don't get to excited about the awards, although I certainly enjoy the recognition, but I do get excited about seeing our extended Century 21 family. Century 21 associates, brokers and owners from all over Alberta will be coming into Red Deer to join in the celebration. ...

Remember when wood panelling and wall murals were popular? Those decorating ideas from days gone by still live on but now fall into the "I wish it was gone" category.
Groovy?

Ottawa would no longer guarantee insured mortgages with terms exceeding 30 years, compared to the present 35-year limit.
Home Equity Line of Credit capped at 85% and no longer insured by ...

Happy New Year!
What a finish to 2010. Red Deer MLS® Sales finished on a strong high note to end the otherwise lacklustre year. 2010 was a year many sellers and REALTORS® would like to forget. Just when we seemed to be turning the proverbial real estate corner the following month was a downturn. That up down cycle was hard on the industry, and sellers. For those ...
