With what finally seems like the first real sunny day in September we're gearing up for a busy weekend in real estate. The Red Deer real estate activity has turned around compared to August already and we have a week or so left in the month to go.
The story for most of 2010 has been that sales were down 30% from last year. That story is about to change and has been changing all month ...

Total Listing inventory in the City of Red Deer has declined to the their lowest level 777 properties listed for sale since the end of May (767). While that may be perceived as high for our market place in comparison to previous years it is a positive sign for sellers and further evidence that buyers should be moving to take advantage of market conditions. The weekly sales volume is also ...

How does your home or Real Estate professional stack up against the average?

So you've moved to a bedroom community outside of Red Deer and now thinking of selling is it harder to sell in a small town versus the big city?
In Red Deer sales for the month of June are down significantly compared to June of 2009. 38% below last years numbers. What about Blackfalds, Penhold, and Springbrook? The attraction of living in a smaller "bedroom community" is the quiet ...

Saturday June 12th was Penhold Day, the celebration day for the Town of Penhold.
Things kicked off at 8:30 with a pancake breakfast followed by the Parade at 11:00.
This years Parade was bigger then ever. If you live on Robinson Ave you get to view the parade twice. First time as it head south towards Lee Street, and the north bound on after it rounds Hayter Street. One ...
