The Canadian Government has recently come out with a few housing incentives:
1. Home Renovation Tax Credit up to $1,350.
2. Helping first time buyers by increasing the Home Buyers Plan RSP wirthdrawl limit to $25,000 from $20,000.
3. First time home buyers can get up to $750 in tax relief to help with the purchase of a first time home.
