Jensen is located north of downtown between Highway 2 and 3rd St., Highway 567 (Veteran Blvd and 1st Avenue.
Home of the tri school site with George McDougal High School (9-12), Airdrie Middle School (5-8) and Edwards Elementary School (K-4). The French Immersion program is hosted at these schools.
It also near The Plainsmen Arena, a splash park and within walking distance to Edmonton Trail, where you will find many fast food restaurants, the Airdrie Registry and many other services.
Most of the homes built in this area were built between 1972 and 1980 although Jensen Hts was built in the 1990's.
