Demolishion work continues at the former Abitibi paper mill site. As can be seen in this photo there are very few structures left. What's next for this site? Only time will tell.

Site preparation has begun on the new Condo project know as The Headwaters. Not much has taken place yet, just some site work that can be seen in this photo taken October 2nd. We'll keep you posted. This photo shows an Island on Lake of the Woods that has now been turned back over to the Province.
The Island is approximately 33 acres in size and is located just noth of Keewatin channel. It was the summer cottage of James Crowe. It was his wish that the Island be given to the crown on his passing and returned to it's natural state.
The cottage has now been removed.

Sales in the residential market continue to be strong. Competition is not uncommon for buyers nor are multiple offers on new listings as they come to the market.

As of June 23rd 2008 Realtors across the country will be required by law to verify their clients ID.
Don't be surrprised if the next time you decide to buy or sell real estate if your agent, who you may have known for years, will ask to see your identification.
