I recently attended a AIRDRIE WOMEN IN BUSINESS EVENT at a local Business in our great City.
I met up with Shelly Rimes owner of Inches-A-Weigh. We were greeted with a lovely refreshing green drink (St.Patty's Day themed) protein smoothie. WE explored the facilities and found out just how passionate Shelly is about her business.

A group of women have gotten together to form a group for local Airdrie Women Business.
I'm part of the group, and have the position of communications. We have a wonder board of women and super members. We support, network and promote our business to our membership and community.

Airdrie is growing. The next annexation plan is on the table. Our city will grow - west,east and north.
Commercial/Retail space is popping up all over town. The Sobey's grocery food store and mall area is filling up. YES, there is a new liquor store going in there.
WE DO have an abundance of liquor stores. WHY? Airdrie doesn't have the restrictions ...

So our great CITY is gettng another TIM HORTON'S on the westside of Airdrie. To those dedicated coffee drinkers and loyal brand followers.
The NEW TIM HORTON'S will be located near the Marks Work Wharehouse/Canadian Tire area.
So you'll be able to grab a coffee - ROLL up THE RIM, buy something with your Canadian Tire Money, and get some new pants a Marks.

I recently participated in a glass pendant making class. We signed up to make wonderful glass creations to adorn our necks. We were allowed to make 12 pendants...YES 12.
I'm hoping once they are fired my creations are something that I would want to wear? Having never done such a class before - I found this great shop in our own city of Airdrie.
