As you may know, real estate is a cyclical business or as in the business we call it the seasonal cycle of sales. As the graph below indicates, our seasonal cycle of sales has not changed. I've been tracking the monthly business since January 2000, and as the chart shows we see sales higher in the spring followed by a decline during the winter months.

It would seem that the City of Peterborough loves their Summer Olympics. When looking back to the summer games in 2004, I saw that the market dropped 6.14 %, with a spike of 18.6% in September of 2004 following the Summer Olympics. I believe we should see a similar spike in 2008.
