THE Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver posted October's sale as the highest it has ever been. 115% increase in volume compared to last October. Prices has risen by 17% as well. Despite the downturn in the USA and the world's economy, it appears Vancouver is still the best place to invest in Real Estate.

Mortgage rates, according to Brooksfield Real Estate funds, is at its lowest. It has plunged 50% since a year ago. Bank of Montreal is offering a five year rate of 4.15%. Bank of Canada Prime rate is now .5%. For people like me who has a variable mortgage of 1 percent above Prime, I am enjoying a 1.5% mortgage rate. More money gets channeled into the principal to pay towards my equity. ...
