1.) Curb Appeal
-Make sure that your sidewalks and driveways are shovelled / swept, leaves are raked, and lawn is freshly mowed
-Tidy up all extra items laying around outside such as bikes, garbage cans, recycle bins
-Clean your windows, and check that all screens are clean
-Don’t forget about your garage. Make sure the floor is swept, and all items are stored away and hung on the wall.
2.) Reduce Clutter
-clean off end tables and ensure all closets and storage rooms are decluttered
-reduce the amount of large furniture in your rooms if possible, to give it a larger look
3.) Clean, Clean, Clean
-A clean house shows that you take pride in your home, and that it is well-maintained
-Appliances should sparkle. Even if you aren’t including them in the sale, you may be able to use them as a negotiating tool later on
-Countertops, sinks, and bathtubs should all be spotless
-Clean all windows
4.) Let the Light In
-Open your blinds, as letting in more natural light will make it look larger.
