How’s The Market, May 2010

Some very good news for single family homes.

Over all, as at the end of April, and compared to the same time last year, the market has shown a clear improvement for single family residential homes in the region.

The following displays Regional average increases:

Listings are up by 10.4%...Sales are up by about 32%...The average sale price is up by 4.7%...The sales to listing ratio is at 46% regionally, up 24% overall.

 There are notable differences in all categories within each municipality. Here’s the sales/list ratio per city.
