Market Overview for Single Family Residential in Niagara Year-to-Date Numbers to the End of August vs. 2009

The number of listings is up in all cities except Pelham/Fonthill (down -3.23%) and Port Colborne/Wainlfeet (down -3.91%).

The average sale price has increased in all cities year-to-date compared to the same time last year.

The sales-to-listings ratio: 38% for Fort Erie and 36% for Niagara-on-the-Lake indicates a buyer’s market.
All others areas indicat a balanced market.   

The number of sales YTD: up in all areas except Pelham/Fonthill (down -3.4% & Port/Wainfleet (down -3.7%).
