Historic Old Fort Erie - Check for events and films at the new visitor centre theatre - The Siege of Fort Erie Re-enactment (August 11 &12, 2018)

Fort Erie Friendship Trail – Paved walking/biking path expanding from Fort Erie to Port Colborne. New portion along Niagara Boulevard.

Beaches - there are a number of beach access points along the lakeside roads around town - sandy public beaches at Waverly Beach & Crescent Beach with plenty of paved parking.

Bay Beach - large public sandy beach with metered parking lots - (new development Summer 2018 - pavillions, publc washrooms etc)

Fort Erie Leisureplex – Twin ice arenas located in Crescent Park. Banquet hall, fast food restaurant and sports store on premises

Public Skating and Hockey at the Leisureplex

Skateboard Park – located at Crescent Park between YMCA and Town Hall Centre.

Centennial Park – Expansive treed park in Crescent Park. Splash pad, twin tennis courts, playground equipment and soccer fields can be enjoyed here.

Energy Field – Small park with playground equipment located in Garrison Village Phase I area.

Oakes Park - Baseball diamonds and Tennis Courts 

 Albert Street park – located near Old Fort Erie area. Tennis courts and playground equipment.

 Bowen Road park – playground equipment located near Niagara River in north end of Fort Erie.

Sugar Bowl – Beautifully landscaped park with paved walkways around water feature/skating pond. Memory park section. Dog park – fully fenced/no leash required.  Playground equipment here too.


E.J. Freeland Community YMCA –Offers a wide range of health, fitness and educational programs including a leisure/splash pool; 20 metre three lane pool with slide; gymnasium; fitness studio; indoor walking track; racquet courts ~ exercise equipment room; and babysitting services. This facility is located in Crescent Park.


Greater Fort Erie Secondary School (grades 9-12) newly constructed school complete with community theatre.

Garrison Road School (K-8), Peace Bridge Public School (K-8)


North End (Bridgeburg) – Older section of town with lots of character homes on tree lined streets.

South End – Older character homes mixed with some commercial properties.
