REAL ESTATE MARKET LOOKING BRIGHTER !

According to statistics from the Real Estate Board of Greater Montreal for the month of July 2009, Quebec's economy seems to be picking up very well.

Indeed, it was announced that, even for a normally quiet month like July, property transactions showed an increase of 19% compared to July 2008. In addition, the price of single family homes has revealed a 7% increase; the plexes have also increased by 3%, while the condos are holding the status-quo. This is surely an excellent situation for sellers.  On the other hand, buyers can as well benefit from this market due to the low interest rates. Economists expect an increase in rates, so buyers should, in my opinion, seize the opportunity immediately. There is a good choice of properties on the market and a good agent is always able to find them a good opportunity.

We are glad the real estate market looks brighter and encourage our colleagues to continue deploying their talents to customers’ benefit!
