City Information
Enderby/Grindrod, BC

The climate in the City of Enderby BC is transitional between the Okanagan's arid desert-like landscape and Shuswap BC's more lush surroundings. Beautiful Mabel Lake is just 20 minutes down Mable Lake Road, and Shuswap Lake is 20 minutes north at Salmon Arm BC. Neighbouring communities of Spallumcheen BC and Grindrod BC are the agricultural belt in this area of the North Okanagan, while Enderby BC is a small city of 4.23 square kilometres. Downtown Enderby has all the charm of yesteryear with its heritage buildings from the turn of the century and interesting corners. When visiting downtown Enderby BC, make sure to leave some time for a meal and sit down to enjoy the friendly vibrant community here.

Highway 97 through Enderby is locally named George Street. At the main intersection of George Street and Cliff Avenue travelers will notice the Enderby Inn and Hotel and the Enderby & District Museum. Signs note that this is the turn off (turn right) for Mabel Lake, and traveling Cliff Avenue brings visitors to Shuswap River and Enderby's outstanding Riverwalk. Stand on the bridge and one can view the river and Enderby Cliffs. Continuing across the bridge, Cliff Avenue becomes Mabel Lake Road. Following Mabel Lake Road will take you to the famous Lorenzo's Cafe and on to Mable Lake.  There you will find the Mable Lake Resort and Airpark as well as the Mable Lake Provincial Park.
