East Hill

An extremely popular area due to its central location, quality homes and consolidation of heritage homes. Although most homes in the area were built between 1950 and 1985, East Hill boasts some newer subdivisions north of 43rd Avenue. The area contains a few duplexes, but most dwellings are single family residential. Schools for this area include Silver Star Elementary, Hillview Elementary and Vernon Senior Secondary. The most famous heritage home is the Caetani Residence, which is now a cultural center.  Many people love the area, as it is walking distance to Downtown Vernon.  The boundary of East Hill is the area east of 27th Street, north of Highway 6 to BX Road, above Pleasant Valley Road and below Pleasant Valley Road to Silver Star Road, then east to the easterly boundary of the City of Vernon.

Over all there appears to be a more positive out look moving forward in the consumers mind.  It's time to buy, lower interest rates, and a great investment climate in real estate over all.  Read More...

We recently listed a commercial building in Vernon that is registered in the Vernon Heritage Register. Not knowing too much about the Register we attended at City Hall and learned that there are monetary incentives available to properties listed in the Register. The support of local businesses is cruicial to our economy, but it doesnt stop there. "We are indeed much more than what we eat, but what we eat can nevertheless help us to be ... Read More...
