Trails Open London provides an opportunity for Londoners and visitors to discover, celebrate and learn to protect our remarkable parks, Environmentally Significant Areas and trails that exist in London.
Over twenty activities at 16 sites are open to the public free of charge over Saturday June 14 and Sunday June 15.
The weekend includes hiking, environmental and natural education, bike tours, butterfly walk, self-guided tours, planting activities and geocaching!
Londoners can take a butterfly walk at Meadowlily Woods ESA , watch Dragon Boat racing at Fanshawe Conservation Area, take in the history of Blackfriars Bridge and much more!
Information on all 16 participating sites can be found on londonculture.ca. Or Map and Event Guides can be picked up, free of charge, at: the London Arts Council and London Heritage Council Office, all London Public Library Branches, all London Community Centres and both Tourism London locations.
