Most of Montgomery Place was built after World War II as a part of the Veterans' Land Act settlement plan. In 1955 it became a neighborhood of Saskatoon. A recent law has been put into place in this community that you can no longer subdivide lots. The community wants to keep large spacious yards a tradition for many years to come. The population of this neighborhood is approximately 2,700.
