Halton Skills Competition 2015 focuses on technology challenges

On Thursday, April 9, 2015, the Halton District School Board’s 26th annual Halton Skills Competition will be hosted by Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton. Approximately 1,000 elementary and secondary students from across the Halton boards will compete in a wide range of skills in more than 40 competitions. Teams of elementary students in Grades 4-8 will take part in activities ranging from green energy challenge to Lego robotics and TV/video production competitions. Secondary school students will compete in numerous events including the likes of  auto collision repair, auto painting, carpentry, digital photography, electrical wiring, fashion design, graphic design, home building, landscape design and TV/video production. There shall also be a A Career Showcase which shall take place during the day with representatives from the industry and education sectors.
