The Canadian Diabetes Association will be in Drumheller on Saturday, August 14 from 11am-2pm collecting donations for their Clothesline Program. This is a great way to get rid of unwanted and unused items that have been collecting around your house. I recently did a "big clean" of our house, and I can't believe how many things we've accumulated over the years. Regardless if you planning a move or not, clearing the clutter out of your life (and house!) will be very rewarding. I was surprised by how big our closets actually are.
The Diabetes Association collects clothing and small household items which in turn they sell to Value Village. For a complete listing of what they will take, please visit their website at www.diabetes.ca and search Clothes Line.
If you are thinking of selling your home, we encourage you to start purging before you are ready to list your house for sale. If buyers come into your house and see that it's too small for you, they'll start thinking that it's too small for them as well. For more ideas on how to get your house ready to sell phone or email The Chambers Real Estate Team. Kimberly Suntjens is an experienced home stager and she will work with you to organize your home and get it ready to sell.
