Selling For The First Time?

Whether you’ve been in your home for 2 years or 20, it doesn’t make the first time selling process any easier.

If you follow these 3 tips, you’ll be on your way in no time!

  1. Go In With Back-Up

Finding an agent you trust is key. Your agent will be handling all sorts of important tasks on your behalf such as making offers, scheduling viewings, etc. Working with a good local agent will make the process a lot easier.

  1. Be Ready

Selling a home is no joke. Make sure you are decided and fully in when selling your home. Be realistic about price, ensure the home is in good condition, and as I said, have back up ready.

If you are not fully in it, you may self-sabotage or withdraw your home from the market, which could come back to haunt you. While Buyers always look at the amount of days a home is on the market, they also look into its listing history.

  1. Don’t Hold Off

When the time comes and the offers start rolling in, it is time to get down to business. Once you have received an acceptable offer and have signed a contract, the closing will come faster than you think.

It is imperative you have a plan in place before closing. Preferably even earlier. It is a stressful situation without having to worry about having nowhere to go, and underestimating the amount of time it takes to List, Sell, and Close would be to your detriment.
