We are almost there once again, waiting for the Easter Bunny to make his appearance this weekend. The excitement surrounding this holiday for children has them very active. A way to help keep the children happy and entertained at the same time is arts & crafts or a great game.
When you have a group of children gathered over the long weekend finding easy to create and fun activities should be at the ready. A few basic games to think about is a bean bag toss, egg spoon races (great for all ages), egg painting, and of course the bunny races using a burlap sack they can hop in and be at the ready to hop to the finish line. These are a few ideas to help children pass the time before the big event of the Easter Egg Hunt!
For the little ones as well a good game is Feed the Bunny. You take a paper lunch bag create a bunny face and take some construction paper and make different shape carrots for them to feed the bunny. Have a jar of jelly beans and allow them to guess how many in the jar and win the jelly beans. And to borrow an idea from a different game Pin the Tail on The Bunny always a favorite with children.
Just a few suggestions that hopefully will make the Easter Weekend a bit more stress free.
